Dream
Whether your dream of building a new home is long-lived or brand new, Mesa Wood Ltd. is committed to helping you bring that dream to life. The first step is to see where we will be building your dream home. We recommend meeting at your lot to get an idea of what the property is like. If you are still looking for property, we would also be happy to meet at potential lots to give you a site evaluation before your purchase. We will then schedule an initial consultation in our office with our president and designer to discuss your goals, dreams, and desires for your new home. Through this discovery session, we hope to capture your vision for the home of your dreams.
Design
During the design phase, we work to plan out every aspect of your dream home. What size & style of home do you have in mind? How many bedrooms & baths? Are there specific features you are looking for? What is your budget? What outdoor spaces will your family use? After finalizing the floor plans with our designer, you will move on to the fun part…shopping! Our Customer Coordinator will help walk you through making all the selections for your new home. This includes, appliances, cabinets & countertops, lighting & plumbing fixtures, floor coverings, exterior colors & materials, and more. Once the plans, specifications and selections are complete, the final coast of the home can be estimated and your loan can be secured. The design phase is probably the most important - as the better the planning, the smoother the build!
Build
Now it is time to build what has been so meticulously laid out on paper. From foundation to finish, we will work to construct your home with care, quality, and on budget. Throughout the process, our superintendent will keep you informed of progress while overseeing the schedule and construction of your home. This schedule will be a living document that will adjust based on material and labor availability, weather, and selection decisions. Our Customer Coordinator will continue to help confirm final selections and work with you personally for onsite layouts and decisions. During the building process, there will be several scheduled construction reviews onsite that you will be asked to attend. Watch as your dream becomes a reality!

The day you have been waiting for: Getting the keys to your new dream home. In the final weeks, we will have a walk through with you to make sure everything is complete and just the way you envisioned it. Then it is time to move in and enjoy your new home!
